Another Busy Weekend

It was a busy weekend for us. Michelle drove down to North Miami for the funeral of a family friend and some time with special friends. Lourens and the boys played around at the house and did ALL the laundry! No photos since the camera's batteries were flat... :(

Next weekend is Labor Day and hopefully we will have some photos of fun times. Remember to enjoy life since you never know when your last day will be. Tell your family and friends that you love them and don't hold grudges. I wish I could stop sweating the small stuff and focusing on what is really important in life. I mean, is anyone really going to remember a horrible hiar cut or some wierd outfit you wore once?? :)

Love, Us xoxoxo

Weekend - Part I

This weekend Lourens took his mandatory motorcycle class to get his license so now he will be riding his motorcylces legally. Mamma and the kids missed Pappa during the day and it was a reminder on why I work outside the home. :) We are all tired and cranky but we made it through.

It was requested to include some photos of Owen's famous thighs...they are irresistable!

Wednesday Night happenings

Zander is enjoying his bubble bath (and pretending to be Santa Claus) while Owen is obviously NOT ready to lay down and sleep.

Ons het die motorfiets gery!

Saturday, August 15 ~
Now that Pappa's blue off road bike was running again, we took it to Louis's plot to make sure it was good......It was good! It was a hot and humid day but we enjoyed it (especially Lourens)!

Oops!!

Owen fell face first off the bed this morning and got an ouchie on his nose and mouth. Poor little guy. What a tough cookie.
Zander helped him smile and feel better by clowning around.

Rodeo Time!

We went to the St. John's County Fair Grounds for a Rodeo on August 14th and had a great time. Zander LOVED watching the bull riding, barrel racing and calf roping. All the children got into the ring and chased a calf around, trying to get a flag off his tail - it was so funny!

This should be interesting...

I have established this blog to keep our distant family and friends involved in our lives, if they so choose. I will do my best to keep it up to date and let you know what we are up to.
